Install

Claude Code (managed plugin, auto-updates):

claude plugins install mattpocock-skills

or from inside a session: /plugin install mattpocock-skills

Codex and other agents (editable files you own):

npx skills@latest add mattpocock/skills

The installer lets you choose which skills to take — make sure setup-matt-pocock-skills is one of them. Pick one install method, not both, or you'll get every skill twice.

Setup

Run /setup-matt-pocock-skills once per repo. It asks which issue tracker you use (GitHub, Linear, or local files), which labels you apply when triaging, and where to save docs.

Usage

• /grill-me, /grill-with-docs — get interviewed about a plan until every branch is resolved

• /to-spec, /to-tickets — turn the conversation into a spec or tracer-bullet tickets

• /implement — build the spec, driving /tdd at agreed seams

• /triage, /wayfinder, /handoff — issue triage, big-work planning, session handoff

• Model-invoked skills (tdd, diagnosing-bugs, code-review, codebase-design, domain-modeling) activate automatically when the task fits

Update with npx skills update.
